We are all unique!

As part of unit 6 - Who We Are - the PYP5 pupils are discovering the importance of individuality and identity. To understand better how our physical characteristics make us unique, Mr. Concagh came into our class to share his artistic expertise on drawing the proportions of the face.

Fun Arts Challenge - Draw a face upside down!

Field Trip
Museu Lasar Segall

Lasar Segall was born in Lithuania and came to Brazil when he was young. He was influenced by many styles of art from Europe and incorporated these styles into his paintings. The portrait paintings that the children observed  at the museum were painted using a Modernist style. The kids observe the shape and features of the faces while walking around the museum.

Congratulations!!!
PYP 5 Beta won the Pinheiros Art of the Month title.
Art form: Forced Perspective Photography.

Sophie Roccia and Marina de Castro received special recognition from Mr Concagh for their awesome pictures!  Their photos were a great representation of what the entire class accomplished.
